My sister and I were raised by loving parents in Maryland. We may not have been 100% ok—but my Mother sited the Golden Rule daily. I really thought that bolt of lightning would strike me from God when I was not on my best behavior. My father taught me to respect everyone with dignity. And yes, I grew up in a Southern Baptist Church. We had strong ties to ‘church’ with my father’s family filled with ministers all the way back to Wales. On my Mother’s English side-Lively—we actually had a relative that helped translate the King James Bible in 1611. I should not have been surprised when God tapped me on my shoulder to work for Him spreading the Word—of the Bible, God and Jesus Christ. 
 

I have written several books—yet to be published. This website will be starting with a blog, podcasts and newsletter. After writing several books, I felt something was missing. Perhaps a greater depth of understanding or knowledge into the Scriptures. So, I am presently a student at Liberty University within their Masters of Art Biblical Studies program in Lynchburg, Virginia. I plan to share this knowledge with my readers. 
 

Oh—I was a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for almost fifty years. Now, my cat Chloe regulates my schedule as I joyfully ‘work’ in my garden, volunteer with various non-profits locally, fill my fascination with bird-watching, struggle with hiking the hills of the Blue Ridge and of course attending church and the various activities there. 
 

Through my studies at Liberty University and the various professors guiding me—I am seeing the Bible with an experience like never before. I do plan to publish all my written papers for school which cover various topics from the Old and New Testaments. I want you to enjoy this experience as much as I am and perhaps for you to see or hear something new in the Words of our God and our Lord Jesus Christ that perhaps you have missed. 
 

I pray that the Holy Spirit fills your heart while on this journey with me. There is nothing like the joy of faith within one’s heart. Please note that all this writing was not my idea. It is all because of God and Jesus Christ leading me along this path. I give all the glory to God and Jesus Christ.
